Responsibilities for CNA's:
Provide 1:1 personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs (such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating)
Assist clients with prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
Help with mobility and ambulation around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, shopping, walks, etc.)
Plan and prepare meals
Assist with physical therapy exercises
Perform housekeeping duties
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Engage the client in their normal daily activities within their abilities to promote healing and wellness
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Available to work different shifts, weekdays and/or weekends
Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, and a CNA License in good standing
Take pride in providing high-quality care
Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
