Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing Sub-Acute supports all nursing operations to function in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations governing care. The position is responsible for the oversight of sub-acute care and services for short term rehabilitation patients as well as long term care residents as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing is preferred. Relevant Registered Nurse experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
Registered Nurse, licensed and in good standing with the State of Maryland Board of Nursing.
Current AHA HCP BLS certification required.
This position requires 5 years of prior nursing experience in a sub-acute or long-term care setting including 3 years in a managerial role and including prior experience with budgetary processes and regulatory agencies. Previous Director of Nursing experience preferred.
