The Unit Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility for directing and coordinating resident/patient care in the assigned nursing unit (approximately 40 to 50 beds) in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations and Keswick’s nursing care standards. Graduation from an accredited registered nurse curriculum is required; Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred. Active Registered Nurse license without disciplinary infractions by Maryland Board of Nursing. Certification in Infection Control is preferred Current AHA HCP BLS certification is required. IV insertion skills are required. Requires 5 years of prior nursing experience in an acute or long-term care setting including 2 recent years in a supervisory role.

Join our community !!   The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers, coordinates, evaluates and is accountable for the total nursing care for residents/patients in the assigned area (approximately 20 to 25 beds) in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations and Keswick’s nursing care standards, in order to maintain or attain the highest practical level of functioning. Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse curriculum is required. A bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred. Active Registered Nurse license without disciplinary infractions by Maryland Board of Nursing. Current AHA HCP BLS certification & IV insertion skills are required.   One year of recent Medical-Surgical experience is required for assignment to Baker Rehab, and is desirable for all other assignments. At least 1 year prior continual experience with the same long-term care facility is required. 2 or more years of service are preferred.
